K-State New Employee Welcome - Virtual (KSNEW-X)

The K-State New Employee Welcome - Virtual (KSNEW-X) experience is an alternative to our new and traditional on-campus K-State New Employee Welcome that was launched in the Spring of 2019. This new virtual approach includes the same topic areas that were developed for the on-campus experience, however employees have more flexibility in reviewing/completing the content.

The K-State New Employee Welcome experience includes topic areas including K-State history and traditions, K-State structure and current initiatives, People, Culture, Principles of Community, Understanding Your Benefits, Key Resources and K-State's Policy Prohibiting Discrimination, Harassment, and Sexual Harassment, and Procedure for Reviewing Complaints (PPM 3010) .

The virtual experience will include a Zoom session held once a month covering the topics of "Understanding Your Benefits" and "People, Culture and the Principles of Community". The remainder of the program content can be reviewed by completing the videos and learning modules below.

Zoom Session

As mentioned, the Zoom session is offered monthly. The Zoom session is held from 10-11:30 a.m. and will cover the following topic areas:

  • Understanding Your Benefits
This session will provide need-to-know information containing basic and voluntary employee benefits as well as employee perks.
  • People, Culture, Principles of Community
This session will introduce new employees to the people, culture and principles that guide K-State.
