Research Forums
The Graduate Student Council hosts two annual research forums for graduate students to share their research or scholarly work with the campus community. These events foster graduate student development of communication and presentation skills. The events are open to students from all disciplines, and faculty, post-docs, and staff from across campus serve as judges to select award-winning presentations. The multi-disciplinary involvement of these events encourages graduate students to focus on effectively communicating their work to diverse audiences. Learn more about the annual research forums.
In partnership with other Kansas Regents institutions, the Graduate School coordinates the annual Capitol Graduate Research Summit (CGRS). Ten graduate students are selected from Research and the State to present a poster of their research or scholarly work at the Kansas State Capitol Building to share their work with state legislators.
