Consortium of Undergraduate Research Experiences
In an effort to encourage research among the country's brightest undergraduate students, Kansas State University hosts various programs that offer academic year and summer research experiences.
These programs provide an opportunity for undergraduates from diverse disciplines to work with a mentor on a research project or to join an existing research team. Besides being an opportunity to work with multi-cultural students from different colleges and universities, participants learn about the Graduate School experience.
Most of the programs include seminars and activities that provide students with professional development opportunities beyond their research experience.
Available only for K-State students
Many of these programs are intended primarily for non-K-State undergraduates, but some programs might admit K-State students to participate.
The Office of Undergraduate Research and Creative Inquiry is dedicated to the expansion of undergraduate research opportunities at Kansas State University. The office serves an interdisciplinary community of researchers and encourages undergraduate students and faculty to realize research's value early in a student's academic career. The office raises the visibility of K-State's strong commitment to excellence in inquiry, investigation and discovery of new knowledge and creative endeavors.
