"MAP Mondays" GIS Workshops

The Geographic Information Systems Spatial Analysis Laboratory and Institute for Digital Agriculture and Advanced Analytics will host a series of hands-on GIS workshops for the K-State community during the Fall 2025 semester. This fall’s theme is skill building for beginners but will also include a kick-off session for experienced ArcMap users to begin (or master) the transition to ArcGIS Pro.

 

Past Events

  • AI in Kansas Ag Conference: Co-hosted by K-State Research and Extension and K-State's Institute for Digital Agriculture and Advanced Analytics, this conference highlights some of the newest agricultural technology using artificial intelligence.
  • ASA Datafest: In this 3-day event, KSU undergraduates compete in teams to analyze and present industry data for prizes.
  • Mixed Models Workshop Series: This workshop series aims to help practitioners gain understanding and develop the intuition for the most common assumptions in mixed models.
  • MAP Mondays Workshop Series: The Geographic Information Systems Spatial Analysis Laboratory, or GISSAL, hosted a series of hands-on GIS workshops for K-State faculty, staff and students during the spring 2025 semester.
