Ag Tech Day, April 4, 2026
This spring, ID3A, KCARE and Kansas 4-H are co-hosting an engaging Ag Tech Day in Moundridge, Kansas at Flickner Innovation Farm. This event is geared for youth in grades 5-12 the unique opportunity to explore the farm and learn about both new and established technologies that are helping make farm management easier and more efficient for producers.
A wide variety of stations will be set up around the farm for attendees to visit while they learn from presenters.
Drone demonstrations are scheduled to last 15 minutes. Join us at the following times:
10 - 10:20 a.m.
11 - 11:20 a.m.
12 - 12:20 p.m.
1 - 1:20 p.m.
Robot demonstrations are scheduled to last 15 minutes. Join us at the following times:
10:20 - 10:40 a.m.
11:20 - 11:40 a.m.
12:20 - 12:40 p.m.
1:20 - 1:40 p.m.
John Deere See & Spray, brought to you by MKC, demonstrations are scheduled to last 15 minutes. Join us at the following times:
10:40 - 11 a.m.
11:40 - 12 p.m.
12:40 - 1 p.m.
1:40 - 2 p.m.
Other stations for the day's activities may include:
- John Deere technologies
- Kansas Mesonet
- NASA STELLA technology
- Sensors
- Soil pit and microscopes
- Technology for finding and tracking insects
The event will be held at Flickner Innovation Farm from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 4. Attendees are welcome to come and go as they please, and snacks will be provided.
