Linda Yarrow, PhD, RDN, LDN, CDCES, is a teaching assistant professor in the College of Health and Human Sciences and founder and co-director of the Guatemala Service-Learning Program in the School of Health Sciences. This innovative program blends academic learning with immersive global experiences, reflecting her commitment to experiential education. As a registered dietitian nutritionist and certified diabetes care and education specialist, Linda is passionate about empowering communities to live healthier lives. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to teaching and mentoring future health professionals while working directly with communities to make nutrition and wellness practical and achievable. With over 40 years of experience, Linda is an award-winning educator and engaging speaker who shares practical, real-world insights on nutrition, diabetes care and overall wellness. Her mission is to inspire audiences to take simple, meaningful steps toward better health — for themselves, their families and their communities.
