Manjot Kaur Rekhi, master’s student in agronomy, is K-State’s 2021 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) winner! Rekhi will represent K-State in the Midwestern Association of Graduate School’s 3MT competition at the end of March. Lara Dsouza, PhD student in biology, was selected as the second-place winner, and Priyasha Fernando, master’s student in civil engineering was voted by the audience as the People’s Choice award winner. Full news release on the winners coming soon in K-State Today!

Facilitate Timely Degree Progress

To ensure a smooth route to graduation, please work with your students to submit a program of study by completion of 9 graduate hours. Having a program of study on file early in their graduate career makes degree expectations clear for the student and supervisory committee. This also makes processing more efficient for Graduate School degree analysts when the student has several forms and documents to submit for graduation. Access the Program of Study and other electronic forms.

Share graduate assistantship opportunities with incoming and current students

Several student support units are accepting applications for graduate assistantships for appointments beginning in fall 2021. Students from all disciplines are welcome to apply.

Application deadline: March 5 at noon

Encourage students to apply for K-State Scholarships
