Project CAMINO (K-State and ULEAM)

Project Camino is a multi-phase program involving a partnership with Universidad Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabi (ULEAM) and Kansas State University’s College of Education, Office of Global Education Outreach (GEO) and The English Language Program (ELP) is the first step in the program. The ELP is responsible for several of the beginning steps:

  • A formal pre- and post- program language assessment for partners and participants to show growth in English ability.
  • Instruction in English to prepare participants to reach a B1 CEFR and to improve English Skills to better engage in teaching and research.

English Assessment

In order to serve every participant better, we need to assess the level of your English skills. This will help us to know how much English support and training we will need to provide during the program. In these assessments, there is no penalty for lower skills and no prize for higher skills. We just want to give participants the best instruction at their current level.

The online assessments will take a total of about 2 hours.
