In addition to overseeing the activities managed in the Institutional Effectiveness reporting units, the Associate Provost for Institutional Effectiveness has responsibilities for the following:

University accreditation with the Higher Learning Commission

Kansas Board of Regents involvement

Event facilitation

State authorization for K-State’s distance programs

Facilitation of award selections

  • President’s Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching
  • President’s Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Advising
  • President’s Award for Outstanding Department Head
  • Coffman Chair for University Distinguished Teaching Scholars
  • University Distinguished Faculty Award for Mentoring Undergraduate Students in Research
  • University Award for Distinguished Undergraduate Student in Research
  • Big 12 Faculty Fellowships
  • KSU Mentoring Awards
  • University Outstanding Department or Unit for Enhancing Diversity
