Consultation

Counseling Services provides brief mental health consultation over the phone or in-person for students, parents, family, staff, and faculty who have concerns about a K-State student. We will listen to your concerns and refer you to resources on campus or in the community in order to help the student. We do not reach out to students as that role is filled by the Office of Student Life.If you have immediate concerns about a student, please call 911. For more information, see our Need help Now Page.

Crisis Response

Our therapists are available to speak with groups of students when a crisis happens on main campus. We generally provide information about typical responses to a crisis, coping strategies, and how to start services in our office.
