What do you want people to know about your teaching philosophy?
I believe that teaching, whether for young children or adults, must take into account the unique experiences of the individual. Everything that we do starts with relationships built around safety and trust. When humans feel safe, we can see the greatest growth.

Why do you find the work you do important?
We all know that the first few years are critical for brain development. When we create a developmentally appropriate environment, it really optimizes each child's development. We do that both in our direct care of children and in the ways that we support the child's family.
