Jan. 25, 2023 - Kansas State University students are excelling in employment and continuing education after graduation. According to the latest post-graduation report from Kansas State University for graduates in the 2021-2022 school year, 97% are employed or furthering their education.
A K-State Handshake: How online networking platform connects job-seeking Wildcats and employers
Jan. 20, 2023 - K-State’s online career services platform, known as Handshake, is all about making those virtual introductions, connecting students and alumni looking for jobs with employers who are ready to hire them.
Submit 2023 Student Employee of the Year nominations
Nov. 30, 2022 - Nominations for the 2023 Kyle Pelton Student Employee of the Year are now being accepted. Any student who is on the student employee payroll and serves in an official student employee position is eligible. The student chosen will be selected based on their reliability, quality of work, initiative, professionalism and defining story.
The Career Center invites students to the 2022 Wildlife & Natural Resources Career Meet-Up
Oct. 12, 2022 — The K-State Career Center invites students to attend the Wildlife & Natural Resources Career Meet-Up. This event will take place at the Berney Family Welcome Center from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022. Any student interested in connecting with employers in the natural resources and wildlife fields is encouraged to attend.
The Career Center invites students to the Nonprofit Career Meet-Up
Oct. 5, 2022 — The K-State Career Center invites students to attend the Nonprofit Career Meet-Up from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022. This event will take place at the Berney Family Welcome Center. Any student interested in connecting with nonprofit organizations is encouraged to attend.
Over 80 employers to attend virtual version of the 2022 All-University Career Fair
Oct. 5, 2022 — The Career Center invites students to a bonus day of this year’s All-University Career Fair hosted online via Handshake. The virtual event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022. This will be a multi-industry virtual career fair that gives students the opportunity to engage with companies and organizations hiring for full-time and part-time jobs, internships, and co-ops.
Record number of employers attending the All-University Career Fair
Sept. 14, 2022 - The Career Center invites students to attend the All-University Career Fair held on Sept. 20, 21 and 22. All three days of the event will be held at Bramlage Coliseum from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This will be a multi-industry career fair that gives students the opportunity to engage with companies and organizations hiring for full-time and part-time jobs, internships, and co-ops.

Sept. 8, 2022 - The Career Center invites students to attend the Pre-Law Career Meet-Up from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022. This event will take place at the Berney Family Welcome Center. Any student interested in considering law school programs is encouraged to attend.
Students are invited to Ready - Set - Sub Event
Aug. 31, 2022 - The Career Center and the K-State College of Educations invites students to attend the Ready - Set - Sub event on Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2022. Through this event, students will meet with area school districts and learn how to become a substitute teacher. This event will be held in the K-State Student Union from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Flint Hills room.
Another In Person Day Added to K-State’s All-University Career Fair
August 30, 2022 -Due to unprecedented demand from employers, an additional day has been added to K-State’s All-University Career. After reaching almost 100 employers on the waitlist, Day 2 has been converted from virtual to in-person at Bramlage Coliseum.
Updated Website Launched by the Career Center
August 5, 2022 - The K-State Career Center has re-organized and updated one of the most important resources for supporting the career readiness of K-State students - its website. The newly launched website at www.k-state.edu/careercenter features information to help students explore majors and careers, develop their potential through experiential learning, tell their story via their resumes and interviews, and connect with future opportunities.
