The Career Center at Kansas State University affirms our long-standing commitment to offer a welcoming and inclusive environment for all K-State students. We endeavor to do that by:

  • Designating liaisons to historically excluded student groups
  • Facilitating intercultural training among departmental employees
  • Requiring SafeZone training for all advising staff
  • Providing diversity, equity and inclusion resources for students
  • Collaborating with multicultural advocates
  • Holding employers accountable to K-State’s notice of non-discrimination and the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) principles of ethical professional practice, and facilitating K-State’s principles of community among our staff, students, employers and campus community
  • Providing an Employer of Concern online form that alerts the executive director to diversity, equity or inclusion concerns about employers recruiting through the Career Center
