2016 HLC Mid-Cycle Assurance Review

As part of the Higher Learning Commission's (HLC) Open Pathway Accreditation process, Kansas State University completed an Assurance Review to ensure it continues to meet HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation. The mid-cycle assurance review takes place during year 4 of the normal 10-year accreditation cycle. The assurance review was completed during the 2015-16 academic year. HLC determined that K-State continues to meet all criteria.

K-State's Assurance Argument (pdf)

The assurance argument demonstrates how K-State fulfills each of the Criteria and Core Components for Accreditation. The assurance argument for this review was submitted March 2016.

Peer Review Team Report (pdf)

A team of peer reviewers evaluates the institution’s Assurance Argument and writes a report. The peer review team’s report includes its findings as to whether the institution meets HLC’s Criteria for Accreditation, as well as possible recommendations for further action or monitoring. Kansas State University met all criteria and was determined to require no further action or monitoring. The final review team report was received May 2016.

Results Notification Memo (pdf)

HLC’s Institutional Actions Council (IAC) reviews and, if necessary, takes official action on the recommendation of the Peer Review team. This memo, received May 2016, documents that no commission actions were taken and no follow-up was required.
