Office of Data, Assessment and Institutional Research (DAIR) is comprised of multiple cross-functional teams developing and implementing the institutional data strategy to transform the culture of using institutional data assets. Partnering with academic and service units, DAIR cultivates the use of data and analytics to enrich institutional knowledge for decision-making and planning by gathering, analyzing, and presenting institutional, external and survey data.

The Reporting & Analytics team  leads the university’s development of data reports and business intelligence (BI) tools. They create analytic models and reports (descriptive, predictive, prescriptive), conduct research and analyses, support K-State strategic directions, and serve as the central clearinghouse for university-wide reporting to outside agencies.

Our Enterprise Data Warehouse team partners with IT units serving as a leader in data warehouse design, development, maintenance, and enhancement. Their focus is to build solutions to increase the value of university data as an asset for analytical and reporting purposes.

DAIR's Assessment of Student Learning team  provides leadership, support, and coordination in assessing student learning outcomes in curricular and co-curricular areas. The team leads institutional accreditation and coordinates program review activities across the university.
