Animal Science and Industry
The Animal Sciences and Industry major prepares students for careers in animal care, production, and related industries. Graduates may pursue veterinary or graduate school or enter fields such as animal health, nutrition, genetics, reproduction, meat science, or dairy processing in industry, education, or government. The curriculum blends science and business, focusing on domesticated animals vital to Kansas. Students can choose between two study options based on career goals: Pre-Vet/Science or Management/Industry. The program is offered in Manhattan and Online.

Diversified Agriculture
Diversified Agriculture provides students a broad base in all areas of agriculture while allowing them to focus on a concentration in their area of interest. This option is ideal for incoming students who want a broad degree, those who have changed agriculture majors one or more times, and students transferring in lower-division courses from more broad-based agricultural curricula. Diversified agriculture is designed to be flexible for career interests and timely completion. This degree is available both online and in person. The program is offered in Manhattan, Online, and K-State Southwest at Garden City.

Early Childhood Education
K-State's Early Childhood Education program is designed for students who wish to work as licensed teachers in early care and education programs for young children, birth through kindergarten, including children with disabilities. Graduates are licensed-eligible educators working in various settings, including public schools, private and non-profit childcare programs, and military or corporate early education programs. The program is offered in Manhattan and Online.
