Testing Accommodations
SAC Testing Center works with faculty to provide accommodations for K-State Manhattan campus course exams to students with SAC-approved accommodations. It is important for students to discuss testing accommodations with instructors before scheduling with SAC Testing Center because students need to understand how exams are handled for each class and plan accordingly.
Scheduling an Exam with the SAC Testing Center
- The SAC Testing Office is located in Holton Hall 002 and is open 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday.
- Students are responsible for scheduling exams on AIM by signing onto the Student AIM Portal.
- Exam requests are to be submitted on AIM at least 3 business days before the date of the exam. Final exam requests are due by 5:00 PM on the Friday before Prep Week (Fall 2025 deadline was on Friday, December 5).
- Late requests can be submitted but may not be approved. Students should be prepared to take the exam with the class if the late exam request is not approved.
- From the Alternative Testing page on AIM, students can schedule exams as well as view or modify existing exam requests.
- Students receive emails for each exam request submitted, approved requests, and reminders for upcoming exams.
- Students should arrive on time for scheduled exam appointments. Arriving late will not extend the scheduled end time of the exam. Unless explicitly permitted by the course instructor and depending on seating availability, students are not permitted to start an exam more than 10 minutes earlier or more than 20 minutes later than scheduled regular semester exam appointments.
For final exams, students will not be permitted to test if they are 30+ minutes or later to their appointment. - Please contact the SAC Testing Center for questions or concerns.
