If you want to plan, develop, produce, promote, market, manage and deliver a range of goods and services to meet the needs of individuals and organizations, then a business administration major is right for you.

K-State's College of Business Administration is fully accredited and offers six majors, nine areas of focus and three certificates.

The K-State difference

K-State's College of Business Administration is dedicated to helping students succeed in their future careers. The college's Professional Advantage program helps business students build skills in communication and networking, as well as matches them to an executive mentor.

Both our undergraduate and graduate programs are fully accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, or AACSB. The business school is among an elite 10 percent in the nation to hold this accreditation for all business and accounting programs.

What courses will I take?

Students may choose to major in accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, management, management information systems and marketing. Dual majors also are available. No matter what major you choose, K-State's business curriculum prepares you to be successful in a globally diverse, technology-driven business world. Students begin taking business courses their freshman year in addition to other courses providing breadth and depth in the educational experience. 

In addition to the majors, the college has nine initiative from which students can choose to focus, including:

What can I do with a degree in business?

K-State business graduates find jobs with government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and public and private businesses in areas including banking, trading, advertising, accounting, management, manufacturing and more. Our students are sought after by large firms for summer internships, which are most often paid.
