This event celebrates 98 years of welcoming families to the campus for activities designed around family, togetherness and pride.

Participants enjoy a variety of activities which showcase the history, tradition, and special connection between K-State, our students, and their families.

We welcome families from anywhere in the nation or world and want to make your weekend special!

Friday

Family Pinning Ceremony | September 18, 7:30 p.m. | Forum Hall

Join us as we celebrate the commitment of K-Staters who share a loyalty to the University. This ceremony honors students who are the first in their family to attend K-State and also honors students who are following a family legacy of Wildcats. Families will pin their student during the ceremony. In turn, students will present a pin to each of their family members as a symbol of their unconditional support of Wildcats. SOLD OUT Family Weekend Tailgate | September 19, 8:30am-10:30am, Jardine Plaza

Experience a true K-State tailgate. Enjoy food while making memories with your family. Meet other families, enjoy great food, typical tailgate activities and photo ops! Fun for all ages! The 2026 Family Weekend Tailgate is sold out.

K-State Football Game vs. Tulane | September 19, 11:00am kick-off, Bill Snyder Family Stadium

After the Family Weekend Tailgate, take a short walk to the Bill Snyder Family Stadium to watch the K-State football game! Cheer on the 'Cats as they take on Tulane. Tickets are now available! Purchase tickets to cheer on the 'Cats!
