Graduate student Leading Change Workshop Series begins next week

Submitted by Michael Sellman

Graduate students interested in building community and leadership experience in their personal and professional lives are invited to attend the Leading Change Workshop series beginning Feb. 27.

Offered through a partnership between the Graduate School and the Staley School of Leadership, the workshop series introduces graduate students to structures designed to help them as they explore leadership that are essential to their professional and private lives.

Participating students will develop leadership skills that will lead them toward progress in adaptive challenges they might face. The series explores ways students can apply leadership skills in their current and future roles.

All K-State graduate students are invited to participate in these workshops.

  • March 5, 2-3 p.m. — Leadership Coaching.
  • March 28, 2:30-4 p.m. — Better Leadership: Centering Compassion, Wellbeing and Belonging.
  • April 4, 2:30-3:30 — Becoming a Community-Engaged Scholar.
  • April 26, 3:30-4:30 — Leveraging Collective Leadership for Sustainable Development.
