SAFE Zone presents Introductory Class on June 19

Submitted by Debra J. Bolton

Intercultural Learning and Academic Success in the Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging and Diversity and Multicultural Student Affairs present a SAFE Zone Introductory Class from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 19.

The class Zoom link will be sent to you prior to the scheduled class time.

Please register for the SAFE Zone Introductory Class. If you are unable to devote 90 minutes of your time to this class, please participate at another time.

Vision: As a program of K-State, SAFE Zone envisions academic and social environments where students, faculty and staff possess a sense of belonging and experience conditions in which they thrive.

SAFE Zone acknowledges the intersectionality of human diversity by educating and fostering respect for multifaceted personal identities — e.g., sexuality, gender identity, class, religion, ability status, national origin, cultures, creed and other preferences. The SAFE Zone teams mobilize campuswide and community resources to assure physical, emotional and mental safety measures and practices.
