College of Education launches electronic publication

Submitted by Patrice Scott

The College of Education launched More Connections, its e-newsletter earlier this week.

The electronic publication's name is a play on the college's flagship print magazine, Connections. The print publication is produced annually while More Connections will be produced quarterly.

“The response to our electronic newsletter has been phenomenal,” said Dean Debbie Mercer. “It has been wonderful getting such positive feedback from faculty, alumni and friends.”

The college will devote space to its three departments in each edition. In this inaugural issue, the articles feature an invitation from Dean Mercer to the 150th kickoff and grand exhibition; the college’s work for military-connected kids; Project EXCELL, a program for adults with developmental disabilities; the Righteous Among the Nations exhibit at Hale Library; and a quick look at the Center for Student and Professional Services.
