You spoke, we listened: New background check vendor impacts the hiring process
The Division of Human Capital Services' Talent Acquisition team seeks innovative and cost-saving methods to recruit a diverse and highly talented workforce. As a result, the university's new background check vendor is Risk Mitigation. The department sought a vendor that focused on service, cost-savings and integrated with the PageUp applicant tracking system.
Improvements from this change include an average turnaround time of 9 hours and 7 minutes and an annual cost-savings of approximately $20,000. Lastly, Risk Mitigation is integrated with PageUp.
At this time, continue to process graduate research assistant and graduate teaching assistant background checks in the same manner. HCS will notify departments of future improvements to this process.
