November 27 Meeting Minutes

Transfer Ambassador Program

November 27, 2012 8:00 p.m.

 

In attendance:  Adriana Olivas, Jacelyn Hejtmanek, Beth Cornwell, Jessica Giannina, Zach Salvestro, Kiah Gourley, Lucero Chavira, Morgan Grimmett, Angela Glean, Austin Cederberg, Jordan Sterling, Kelsey Darnell, Austin James, Bill Disberger

 

  • Rock-It Bowl
    • o   FREE bowling, pool, games. (Checking to see if bowling shoes are free or not.)
    • o   Scheduled for Sunday, December 2 at the Union Recreation Center from 9-11 p.m.
    • o   Angela and Kelsey volunteered to show up at 8:30-8:45 to set up and bring laptops so students can “like” our FaceBook page.
    • o   We will raffle t-shirts, bowling and pool coupons, and $100 gift card only for transfer students.
    • o   5 cases of Pepsi products were approved for our use.
    • o   Bill really wants us to have 75-100 people there, especially to make use of the research he and Deana are trying to collect from the transfer students. Personally invite 2-3 transfer studentsand announce in your classes this week.
    • o   If you purchased a TAP t-shirt, wear it that night.

 

  • Spring Gift Mart
    • o   Going to set for Tuesday, April 16, 2013.
    • o   Give any vendor contact information to Austin James.
    • o   More details coming next semester.

 

  • All-University Open House
    • o   Saturday, April 20, 2013.
    • o   We will have a booth and most likely host a transfer student reception like last year.
    • o   More details coming next semester.

 

  • Fundraising
    • o   We received $76.41 from our LOCAL night!
    • o   Still receiving money from our vendors from the Fall Gift Mart.

 

  • T-Shirts
    • o   Please pick up your TAP t-shirts this week in Bill and Deana’s office.
    • o   Bill has threatened to resell any t-shirts not picked up by the end of this week, whether you have paid for them or not.

 

  • No meetings for the rest of the fall semester
    • o   We will send out an email with details of our first meeting for the spring semester.
