The Student Body President serves
as the chief executive of the K-State
SGA.  The primary duty of the Student
Body President is to represent and 
protect the rights and interests of the
student body.  The Student Body
President is duly elected by the K-State
student body and serves a one-year term.

 

Key Responsibilities

Represent the student body and voice student needs and wishes to the university administration, faculty, staff, and the K-State family, Serve as a member of the President's Advisory Council, Serve as a ember of Faculty Senate and the Faculty Senate Committee on University Planning, Serve as a member of the Student Advisory Committee to the Kansas Board of Regents, Serve as an ex-officio member of the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce, Appoint students to serve on 20+ University Committees, Serve a one-year term on the Alumni Association Board of Directors

The Study Body Vice President works to
advance the agenda of the Student
Body President and serves as the official
representative of the student body in the
absence of the Student Body President.
The vice president is duly elected
alongside the president and also serves
a one-year term.

Key Responsibilities

Represent the student body and voice student needs and wishes to the university administration, faculty, staff, and the K-State family, Chair the Educational Opportunity Fund Committee, Chair the Student Centered Tuition Enhancements Committee, Serve as a voting member of Faculty Senate and the Academic Affairs Committee for Faculty Senate
