Limited Submissions Internal guidelines addressing funding programs that have a limit on the number of applications an institution may submit.

Pivot Funding Opportunities database This is a funding resource database containing information on worldwide funding opportunities from federal, foundation, and association sources.

FDA (Faculty Development Awards) provides support to travel to international meetings, primarily at international locations, to participate in foreign exchanges (such as NEH fellowships) and to meet with Program Officers of potential external sponsors.

USRG (University Small Research Grants) program is a “seed” grant program to support early research, scholarly activity, and other creative efforts.

EPSCoR (Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research) Focuses on those states that have historically received lesser amounts of Federal research and development funding. Kansas is an EPSCoR state and special opportunities exist with the National Science Foundation, National Institute of Health, NASA, Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy, and the Department of Defense.
