The Kansas Center for Agricultural Resources and the Environment is a component of the College of Agriculture. It was established to coordinate and enhance research, extension and teaching activities pertaining to environmental issues related to agriculture, including soil conservation and quality, waste management, water conservation and use and water quality.

The center develops and delivers knowledge to help Kansans balance utilization and protection of natural resources.
