Kansas Lipidomics Research Center

Technology Development

Development of the lipid profiling technology in place at the opening of the Kansas Lipidomics Research Center took place at the University of Kansas Mass Spectrometry Laboratory.

At the Kansas Lipidomics Research Center Analytical Lab, researchers develop new analytical strategies as needed for our own projects, and, when possible for client projects.  If you have a project of interest, please feel free to discuss it with us.

LipidomeDB:

The Kansas Lipidomics Research Center has created an online database containing lipid profile data. This database contains extensive metadata derived from biological experiments, as well as much additional information about lipid molecular species and their mass spectral properties. It also provides for continuous annotation of large datasets containing spectral information about many identified lipid metabolites. This database is used extensively in the KLRC Analytical Laboratory's analyses.
