This Nationally Competitive Scholarships advises K-State students as they seek to identify and compete for major scholarships, fellowships and other academic prizes, including those that require candidates to be nominated by the University before they can compete nationally.

The McNair Scholars Program is a comprehensinve, two-year program structured to prepare undergraduates for successful careers as graduate students, professors, and professional researchers.

The Developing Scholars Program offers high-achieving, serious-minded, first generation and/or historically underrepresented students research projects in their field of study with faculty mentors. Scholars will receive academic, social, and financial support while becoming integrated into the intellectual climate of the university.
