Responsibilities
As the director of the McNair Scholars Program, I oversee administration and execution of the program as well as ensuring that we are in compliance with the Department of Education's legislation and regulations for TRIO programs. I meet with current scholars regularly during the academic year and during their summer research to ensure proper support is in place. I also meet with interested scholars to help determine eligibility and fit/connect to other resources.
