View Other Students

The Student Lookup function enables advisors to access information for students who are not in their My Advisees list. 

To look up a student who is not your advisee:

1. Login to KSIS with your eID and password at https://ksis.k-state.edu.
   
   
2. Select the KSU Advisor Center from the KSIS Links on the right side of the KSIS home page.
   
   
   
   
3. The My Advisees list is displayed.
   
   
   
   
4. Click Student Lookup located on the right of the Bulk operations area.
   
   
   
   
5. The Student Search page opens in a new window.  This allows you to search for a student without closing your My Advisee list.
   
   
   
   
6. Enter search criteria for the desired student and click Search.
   
   
7. Select the desired student from the Search Results area to access their summary tab.  The summary tab includes the advisee's Residency, Account Summary, Classes and Service Indicators, Transfer College and Advisor History information. 
   
   Note: The summary tab opens in a new browser window or tab.  Select the appropriate one to view the advisee's information.  For details about the summary tab, go to the Advisee Summary Tab article.
   
   
   
   
8. To return to the KSU Advising Center, close the summary tab or window.
