One-on-one orientations are available for the Summer 2009 Semester. Staff will be available to answer your questions provide assistance. Please fill out the online request form, http://www.k-state.edu/infotech/classrooms/training.htm to schedule an individual orientation time.
Drop-in orientation sessions are recommended for returning faculty new to a particular room or who have not been in a technology classroom for some time.
Full orientation sessions are required for anyone new to K-State's technology classroom environments. These orientations will last approximately 30 minutes, and will consist of:
(1) Equipment demonstration – an opportunity for hands-on operation of equipment.
(2) Utilization of physical space - discussion of room specific considerations.
(3) Policies - discussion of specific policies and security procedures governing use of the room.
The orientation will last approximately 30 minutes including time for questions. You may attend a session in any room in order to satisfy the
orientation requirement.
Registration:
Use the Kansas State University Employee Self Service to enroll in a technology classroom training session. Go to:
https://www.as.ksu.edu/psp/HRIS/
1)Type in your eID and password
2)Select and click on “Employee Self Service” on the left navigation bar
3)On the next page, in the right column click “KSU Training Enrollment”
4)On the following page, Click on “Search by Course Number”
5)Then, type WIT in the box for the Course Number and click the “Search” button
6)Click on “View Available Sessions”
7)On the ensuing page, select the session in which you wish to enroll
8)Click the “Continue” button on the next page. Then click “Submit” to confirm your enrollment
