Term instructors in English.

Temporary (non-tenure track) instructors for the Fall 2009 semester, with possible continuation into the Spring 2010 semester. Minimum qualification: M.A. in English or related field, with two years experience teaching at the college or university level. Expertise in teaching introductory classes in writing, literature, or creative writing required. Excellence in teaching and commitment to diversity through pedagogy and course content required.

Required start date is August 9, 2009.

Student Employment: Computer Technical Support.

Hours per Week: 8-10 (Morning and Afternoon)
Salary: $9.00/hour

People-oriented technical support person desired to troubleshoot hardware and software problems, perform routine maintenance and software updates, and configure network options for faculty, staff, and lab computers. Preferred start date: August 12, 2009, with one week of training with current student tech in late April/early May 2009.

Must have familiarity and experience with both Mac OS 10 and PC (Win 2000, XP, Vista). Good communication, people, and problem-solving skills essential. Prefer Work Study student, but position available to other students. Work hours flexible within general office hours (M-F, 8am-5pm). Priority given to persons with backgrounds in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, and/or customer service.
