K-State Dance is a diverse program that offers many dancing opportunities. Students can earn a B.A. or a B.S. in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in dance, which provides a rich background in dance as well as amazing opportunities to work behind the scenes of dance concerts and gain experiences in technical production, basic acting, and costuming.

The dance minor is a two-year program that can easily fit into even the most rigorous academic major schedules. The minor emphasizes on the core course work, technique, and performance.

Both the major and minor offer the opportunity to study the areas of dance taught at K-State: ballet, modern, jazz, tap, and musical theatre dance. Students can specialize in all of the areas or select two as the primary focus in their study plan.
