K-State's Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) is committed to providing an animal care and use program that provides a humane and compliant environment for its research animals, and state-of-the-art support and collaborative research and teaching program for our scientists and students.

What's New

IACUC Resources now has available the 2016 Guidelines of the American Society of Mammalogists for the use of Wild Mammals in Research and Education.

 

Important Announcements:

Digital Signature on Forms

Please note: You may sign the IACUC Application form using a digital signature. DO NOT sign the form until it has been completed. You cannot edit the form entries once the form has been digitally signed. If you are making revisions to a previously signed form, right-click the digital signature and select Clear to remove the signature (this can only be done by the person who originally digitally signed the form). Forms that have not been signed will not be accepted.

Mandatory Online Training Updated 7/14/15

URCO Online modules and Video Training Vignettes (VTVs) have been replaced with training provided through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative program (CITI). Click on the Training tab for instructions on how to register for CITI and complete the training.

IMPORTANT: Current training will be honored for 3 years from your last completion date.

Electronic Submission of IACUC Applications
