affect your installation of SAS, i.e., your Windows operating system, how
your computer is configured, where you are located,
and your internet connection. From this K-State SAMBA site you can: Install a new SAS program. You are now able to install SAS 9.3 /or/ SAS 9.2 /or/ SAS 9.1.3 /or/ SAS 8.2 directly from the K-State SAS License Software site. You do not have to download and unzip the installation program to your computer. /...OR.../ if you want to copy the installation program to your computer, you can "copy and paste" the program folder to your computer and install it from there... but the folders (especially the SAS 92) are really LARGE! ================================================= Your K-State eID MUST be added to the SAS SAMBA access list before you will be able to connect to the K-State SAS Software Site. PLEASE NOTE: You will login with your: K-State eID & K-State eID Password If you are not on the SAS Access List, then email the Site License Admin Group to see if you are authorized to be added. ================================================= >To access K-State's SAS installation software site you will use your Windows "Map Network Drive" option and install the software directly from the site. >You must have "Administrator Rights" to the desktop computer to install the SAS program? >If you are accessing this site from OFF CAMPUS you will need to install a Virtual Private Network (VPN) program. To get the VPN program and/or more information go to: Virtual Private Network at K-State. >If you are running Windows VISTA, see the notes below. ================================================= ================================================= Connecting to the
