Schedule & Deadlines

The AlcoholEdu and Haven for College programs have two sections each, both of which must be completed to fulfill this requirement:

Part 1: Available December 8, 2014

  • December 8, 2014: First day you can access Part 1. This section of the program may take some time to complete, and it is recommended that you take it in multiple sittings. You will need a computer with Internet access and audio capabilities, as well as your K-State eID and password. Part 1 ends after Survey 2 and the Exam. You must earn a grade of 75% or higher on the Alcohol Edu Part I to pass and receive credit for the program.
  • January 16, 2015: Last day to complete Part 1 of each program. Part 1 must be completed before you arrive on campus.
  • You must complete the K-State AlcoholEdu program to enroll for the Fall 2015 semester.

Part 2: 45 days after completing Part 1

  • About 45 days after completing Part 1, you will receive an email prompting you to begin Part 2, which will take about 15 minutes. Complete Part 2 within 10 days of receiving the email reminder.

AlcoholEdu for College includes three surveys that measure students’ alcohol-related attitudes and behaviors. All survey responses are strictly confidential; the school will only receive information about the student body as a whole and will never see individual students’ answers. The surveys help to customize the program to each student to ensure that students receive the content in a way that is relevant to their own personal experience.

To begin the AlcoholEdu for College program, read the getting started instructions.

Students will receive a message in their campus email account that will provide more details about this program, including how to access the program and deadline dates for completing it.
