The study of philosophy offers a breadth of knowledge, reasoning, and writing skills. It encourages reflection and provides an excellent foundation for success in many professional endeavors. Nationally, philosophy majors have some of the highest acceptance rates for law schools, medical schools, and business schools. Many of recent K-State graduates have gone on to first-rate law schools and graduate programs in philosophy and related fields. A growing number of philosophy majors are seeking careers related to the health professions.
