If so, pursuing a bachelor's degree in construction engineering technology may be a good move for you. As the program's website states, "The program is built upon a strong foundation of science, mathematics, applied technical courses and interpersonal communications designed to meet current industry needs. Courses in technical graphics with CAD (surveying, material testing, construction computer applications, electrical and mechanical systems, engineering economics and estimating) provide a broad range of technical skills with which to pursue a career in the construction industry. These are complemented by required and elective courses in communications, management, humanities, social sciences or business."
