Athletic training

A major in athletic training focuses on studying the concepts and developing the skills needed to manage health care problems associated with physical activity in individuals. Athletic trainers find job opportunities in secondary schools, colleges and universities, professional sports, sports medicine clinics, and other settings. This program prepares students for a career as an allied-health professional and for the BOC examination, the test that leads to certification and the credential of certified athletic trainer.
