There are many online resources available to help you explore your major or career path. Below we have gathered a few that will be helpful as you explore.

Online databases

  • Vault Online Career Library - Access occupational and employer profiles, as well as industry research detailing the latest career information and trends. Download and print more than 60 industry and employer guides worth more than $1,000 for free. You will also find tips on interviewing, resume samples and career advice articles. You must have a valid "ksu.edu" or "k-state.edu" e-mail for access.
  • ONET - Find occupational information and match your skills to job possibilities.
  • Career One Stop - This website is sponsored by the United States Department of Labor and has comprehensive and up-to-date information on careers and jobs.
  • Wet Feet - An expansive collection of career information complete with career and industry profiles, and tips on interviews, resumes, and getting a job.
  • Career Overview - A comprehensive career information guide on hundreds of careers and occupations.

  • My CES Account - All K-State students can access their CES Account to search for jobs and find out about upcoming events.
  • Occupational Outlook Quarterly - This journal is published by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and has up-to-date information on job growth and industry trends.
