Learn more about our big move!

In fall of 2024, Tutoring Services shifted our home from Holtz Hall to a Hale Library! Though the space wasn't quite ready then, we're going strong this spring in helping more students than ever before! Read the full story in the Winter 2024 edition of the K-State Libraries Magazine.

Kamilla Carpenter

Celebrating our tutors!

We are honored to celebrate one of our tutors every semester in the awarding of the Kim Dierks' Scholarship for Tutors of Distinction.

Kamille Carpenter, a junior in Biology, started as a peer tutor for the Academic Achievement Center in Spring 2024. Since then, Kamille has tutored many K-State students in BIOL-198 as a drop-in tutor.

When asked about tutoring, Kamille responded by saying, “My favorite part about tutoring is forming meaningful connections with my peers while supporting their academic growth. It is truly rewarding to help other K-State students build confidence and feel proud of their progress. Tutoring has provided me with a strong sense of fulfillment that I am extremely grateful for!”

It's what we focus on
I love my Academic Coach so much and I wouldn't know what I would do without them! So thankful for the opportunity to meet with a Coach!
Fall 2024 Student
I needed help understanding a couple topics before my Organic Chemistry exam. My tutor helped me feel more comfortable with the topics I was fuzzy about and now I feel less worried about my exam.
