Oriental Fountain Grass, Pennisetum Orientale ‘Karley Rose’

This grass has very interesting inflorescences that display a pink tint. The plants were not quite as upright as some of the Pennisetum alopecuroides varieties, but they have good potential for being a valuable ornamental plant.
The second year of growth on this cultivar was impressive. The plants lost the floppiness of the first year and had very vigorous growth.
The blooms lasted from June onward. Very ornamental.
