Join modern languages department in celebrating Mexican Independence Day
This week, the Department of Modern Languages is celebrating Mexican Independence Day with two special events.
On Wednesday, Sept. 13, the department will host a special Café Olé conversation hour in the Eisenhower Hall second-floor lounge from 1-2 p.m. to celebrate Mexican Independence Day with traditional games, prizes and food.
Students, faculty, staff and members of the community of all Spanish-language levels are welcome.
Drop by the Kirmser Language Center in Room 1 of Eisenhower Hall from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, to celebrate el Grito de la Independencia de México, the Mexican declaration of independence, with games, prizes and Mexican candies.
