Mindful Communication for Supervisors offered virtually on March 3

Submitted by Human Capital Services - Learning and Development

Mindful Communication for Supervisors will be offered from 8-10 a.m. Friday, March 3, via Zoom.

The session will provide participants insight into their own communication styles and anxieties. Participation will help supervisors understand how verbal and nonverbal communication can help to create more mindful, effective messages to employees.

As a result of this session, participants will:

  • Recognize the importance of effective communication, including nonverbal communication.
  • Identify their current communication style and its impact on others.
  • Apply techniques and strategies to become more skilled in interpersonal communication.

You must be a current supervisor of university support staff or unclassified professionals to attend this session. The session is offered in conjunction with the K-State Supervisory Foundations Pillar I: Establishing Your Supervisory Foundation certificate program, therefore, seating is limited.

To register for this session, complete the registration form.
