Interested in meeting new friends from around the world? Join International Buddies, a registered departmental student organization.

The organization pairs international and local students into small buddy groups. Buddies get the opportunity to meet, learn more about each other’s cultures and connect in an informal setting. International students get to become more of a part of the Manhattan community while local students get to become more globally aware. You can make friendships that can last a lifetime. Students from all majors can participate and benefit from this club.

Your group can meet in person, hybrid or online — whatever you are most comfortable with. Groups will be matched according to your preferences. Large group events will be hosted for all buddy members to attend.

To be put in a group for the spring semester, fill out the survey online or scan the QR code. The survey should take no more than five minutes, and the information you provide will help match you with peer buddies who share similar interests.

The applications will close at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5.
