Research and the State poster forum today

Submitted by Bailee Lynn Irwin

The Graduate Student Council's annual Research and the State graduate student poster session will be from 1:30-3:30 p.m. today, Oct. 27, in the K-State Student Union courtyard. The K-State community is invited to attend the poster forum to learn about graduate student research and the implications it has for issues of interest in the state of Kansas.

More than 50 graduate students representing seven academic colleges and more than 20 graduate programs are participating in this year's forum. Presenters, poster titles and presentation abstracts are available in the PDF abstract booklet.

Ten presenters will be selected to represent K-State at the annual Capitol Graduate Research Summit in the spring at the State Capitol Building, where graduate students present their posters to state legislators and the public. Winners of Research and the State will be announced at 4:30 p.m. today in the Union's Big 12 Room.
