College of Business adds marketing minor open to all disciplines

Submitted by Esther Swilley

The K-State College of Business is now offering a marketing minor for non-marketing majors to help students of other disciplines acquire more marketing skills.

The marketing minor consists of 15 credit hours, including two core and three elective courses for non-business majors. Students will take MKTG 400: Introduction to Marketing as the prerequisite course in the minor. The minor is also available for business majors, with one core and four elective courses.

The minor will be awarded upon receiving or after the student is awarded a baccalaureate degree. Students must earn a minimum of 2.5 cumulative GPA across all five courses to graduate with the minor.

Detailed course requirements are available online. Questions about the new program may be directed to cbamarketing@k-state.edu.
