Student Senate weekly update

Submitted by Rachel Grollmes

A lot happened at the Nov. 11  Student Senate meeting. First, Athletic Director Gene Taylor spoke to senators and individual colleges met for college caucus time to write college-specific legislation.

The application to be the next attorney general is live. If you are interested in applying for the position, you can contact Annaleigh Hobbs, current attorney general, at alhobbs@k-state.edu. View the application.

On-Campus and Travel Allocation legislation were introduced to the senate, and several bills were passed as well.

Finally, the Student Governing Association quote of the week is from Jean-Luc Picard: "Live now; make now always the most precious time. Now will never come again."

All are welcome to attend Student Senate at 7 p.m. every Thursday in Wildcat Chamber in the Union. Hope to see you there and Go Cats!
