Virtual student town hall Sept. 9 with president and administrators

Students are invited to a virtual town hall with President Richard Myers and other university administrators from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9. For everyone's comfort and safety, the town hall will be offered in a virtual format only. It will be hosted by Michael Dowd, student body president, and other Student Governing Association members. 

Panelists and topics will include:

  • Kyle Goerl, Lafene Health Center medical director, update on COVID-19 and its current impact in the area, state and country. 
  • Thomas Lane, vice president for student life, overview of programs supporting student well-being. 
  • Jeannie Brown Leonard, vice provost for student success, overview of programs supporting student success. 
  • Be Stoney, interim chief diversity and inclusion officer, update on the Action Plan for a More Inclusive K-State. 

President Myers and administrators will be available for a question-and-answer session following the presentations.
